Connie Kimoto and staff was clearly under the gun for lack of detail but it didn't seem to
deter them from pushing forward the vote to accept the mid-year budget
revisions, complete with poorly documented overruns in the police budget.
The effort seemed focused in letting sleeping dogs lie while pushing for
next year's budget planning. Absent public objection soon, or full
disclosure from police management, it appears to have worked. The
Council voted to accept the adjustments and press on without the details.
